Products
B&K Woodcraft products are handmade from natural hardwoods. Grain, colour, figure and other natural characteristics will vary from piece to piece. These variations are part of the character of natural timber and are not defects.
Product photographs are intended to represent each item as accurately as possible. Where an item is individually listed, the photographs and description relate to that particular piece unless stated otherwise.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euro. Any applicable delivery charge will be shown before you complete your order.
Payment is taken through the payment methods offered at checkout. An order is accepted when payment has been successfully processed and the order has been confirmed.
Delivery
B&K Woodcraft currently delivers within Ireland only.
Delivery times may vary depending on the item and destination. Where no specific delivery date has been agreed, goods will be delivered within the period required by applicable consumer law. Irish consumer guidance states that goods should normally be delivered within 30 days unless another timeframe has been agreed.
If there is an unexpected delay, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
Personalised and made-to-order items
Where you request engraving, personalisation or an item made specifically to your requirements, you are responsible for checking the information you provide before the work begins.
The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right generally does not apply to personalised or made-to-order goods. This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
Returns and cancellations
For standard, non-personalised goods purchased online, you generally have 14 days from receiving the goods to tell us you wish to cancel, followed by a further 14 days to return them. Full details are set out in our Returns & Refunds policy.
Faulty or incorrectly described goods
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact B&K Woodcraft. Irish consumer rights are principally set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
Commissions
Commissioned work will be agreed with you before work begins. This may include the design, timber choice, dimensions, price, expected completion time and any personalised details.
Once work has begun on a personalised or made-to-order commission, change-of-mind cancellation rights may not apply.
Website information
We aim to keep product descriptions, prices and availability accurate. If an obvious error is identified before an order is fulfilled, we will contact you to resolve it rather than silently substituting or altering the order.
Fair terms
These terms are intended to be clear and fair and do not override rights given to consumers by law. Irish consumer law requires consumer contract terms to be transparent and not create an unfair imbalance in favour of the business.
